Formerly Vietnamese Evangelical Church of Dallas-Ft Worth, Living Word Evangelical Church Grand Prairie was formed as a result of a home Bible Study group consisting of a handful of Vietnamese in the area led by Rev Ngoc Sanh Nguyen while he was a student at Dallas Theological Seminary in 1992. As a part of district wide church planting effort, the Vietnamese District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance formally recognized the church as a member of the District in January 1994. In 1995 with regular attendance in the 30, God with His amazing provisions made it possible for the church to acquire its own building at 825 S. Collins St. in Arlington. The new church building was formally dedicated in October 1995 in a ceremony officiated by the District Superintendent Muc su Tai Anh Nguyen and the District Secretary Muc su Quang Ba Nguyen. After 7 years dedicating to leading the church and ministering the needs of the congregation and the community MS Ngoc Sanh Nguyen followed God’s call to head a larger church from the District in Orange, CA.

In October 2001, Pastor Dinh The Le accepted God’s call to become the 2nd senior pastor of the church. He and his family left the Vietnamese Evangelical Church in San Bernadino, CA to come to Arlington to pastor the church here. He and his family served God together with other associate pastors for 10 years and retired.

October 2011, Pastor Bien Nguyen became 3rd senior pastor continuing to minister now to a larger church body with the desire to help believers to mature in Christ and to honor Him in life and through serving God while serving others.

  1. I was just searching for this info for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your web site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this type of informative websites in top of the list. Normally the top websites are full of garbage.
